Is this normal when I flash?

Hey guys

My EVAP canister purge solenoid valve makes a continous "click, click" sound whenever I begin flashing my PCM. I never noticed it before. It stops clicking when the flash is complete. Is this normal or an indication of something? Here is a pic of the solenoid from Shoebox's Tech Page.

Thanks
Jeff D.

Mine does the same, but I've had problems with my evap in the past, I don't know if it's normal.

Don't worry about it. I've seen it on about 1 out of 2 cars I programmed, including mine.

It sounds like the #4 injector but if you listen carefully, it's the CCP solenoid.
