Having a random no start issue. It first started with the security light coming on during driving . Light would come
On , stay on then go off. Randomly
The car would have a no start issue . Would attempt a start , security light would stay on and no start. Wait few mintues and car would
Start. I attributed to the vats system, sent pcm
Out to have the vats turned off. Got pcm
Back and still
Having same issues. Tuner says vats we're
Turned off and if it wasn't the car wouldn't run. They checked the file so they say to verify it was turned off. What could be going on?

Still have to jumper out the starter relay even with VATS turned off or the engine will not turn over.

Just saw this is from July, OP probably found that out already.

Unfortunately, the OP "Geezer powered" never came back and signed into the site, after his above post. Would be nice if people at least had the courtesy to follow up and indicated they had seen the response.
