Unhappy Freescan help!

I hooked the cable up to my laptop and started Freescan 2.10 but I am not getting any readings. I have it on COM1 with a 100ms delay but nothing seems to be showing on the daskboard or status page. Any ideas?

I made my own cable and it works great..

Does your cable have the ALDL connector and everything?

The only issue I've ever had was when using serial extension cables.. If the extension is cross wired (not a true extension), it wont give you anything..

The only other thing would be to ask you if the com port is enabled and properly functioning... You can plug a serial mouse into it and check that way..

Do you have it set to interact? If you don't, it's not going to get any information. Get it to interact before you hit the start button.
