FAST Harness, where to start?

So I just got my FAST and an LT1 harness.

Oh My. No instructions and rather scary.

Where do I start? I know I have to splice this into the stock harness somehow but which wires to which wires? Are they are colour coded the same? - I have not spent a lot of time looking.

Is it a case of cutting the wire to the PCM and just splicing the wires to the stock harness connectors? and leaving the wire to the stock Pcm "hanging"?

Anyone have any pictures, websites, instructions.

Thanks

Sorry to hear that it gives you a scary feeling. That is one thing that is being addressed, an install manual.

As far as splicing into your stock harness, it would be much easier to buy an adapter harness. This way you can still keep your stock ECU intact. Fast Track Performance sells these adapters

www.fasttrackperformance.com

Other than that, it should all be straight forward. Here is a link
that might help some as well.

His toll free number does not work for me in Canada and I was unable to find a 'regular' number.

Anyone able to help?

Also Kevin, are you in some way related to FAST?

Umm that is bizarre. The # you called (662-224-3495) is our tech support number which is based in Ashland MS, i am in Memphis Tn. After Comp Cams bought FAST we are separated into 3 locations to better serve our customers and products. If you spoke with Mike Taylor or Tony Adkins in Tech support they know me. So i am guessing you didnt speak to either one?

Anyway the number i posted earlier was the number i pulled from distributors list for Fast Track Performance. If they do not have the adapter harness, Advanced Performance sells them as well if i am not mistaken.

Hi Kevin

Well close. I asked the receptionist to speak to you and they said they did not have anyone by that name. I then asked to speak to tech support and they sent me to a chap. I stated my question and he said I had to speak to one of the two you mentioned. One was on holiday and I left a message for Tony.

TY for the Fast Track number. I called and left a messge with them as well
