Delete 02's?
Delete 02's?
Ive been battling my left bank 02 sensor for a while now (would cause stumble, replaced with brand new ACDelco and still stumbled, so not its just not connected to the extension) it would stay stuck at like 1150 then at random bounce back to normal 450ish. Dont know why it does this, if the wires leading up to the PCM were burned, would it cause this? Anywho, is there any way to program out the 02's? Like make the computer THINK they are running perfectly? Would this hurt performance at all? I hate 02's........
BTW, the left 02 is wired to an AF gauge which only seems to light up when it wants too, and when it was lit, the 02 worked fine. got tired of trying to figure it so i unplugged the 02.

sounds like your A/F gauge may be hooked up wrong. Did you connect ti to the O2 line itself ? or did you connect it to the purple wire on your PCM ? In our cars it is supposed to be connected to the PCM. IF its wired correctly then you can have your car stay in open loop mode ( which will ignore O2s ). But your gas mileage would suffer, I do not recomend it for a mild application. I run Open loop mode and rely on just hte MAF And VE tables for fueling but thats because my extreme overlap gives the O2s large amounts of O2 readings at low RPM and the PCM adds to much fuel.
Have you tried disconnecting your A/F gauge and see how it works? if its got a new sensor I would be led to think wiring is suspect
