ok...like an idiot i changed out my carb on my 85.it is no linger computer controlled,so my chrck engine light comes on and my distributor is gone(i have to run an advance to get it even somewhat right).my problem is that i need to get the car smoged...they won't even let me take the tset if the check engine light is on.now the worse problem is that i had to cut the fule line going into the carb.my question is this.is there a way to get the carb back on and get fuel to it?i was thinking about just thowing on a stand alone tbi setup...but i am not sure if the check engine light would still stay on or not....any help would be great.
