I have a 97 Camaro z28 in sig. I have Jet dt, I was able to read the config and save it. When I went back to read it again or even program it, I am getting invalid response form ecm on both options. I haven't received any errors.

So far I attempted to reset the ecm by disconnecting battery for 1hr, tried connecting it to a charger, checked fuses. I am able to view vehicle information. I once was prompted with the security hex code but haven't seen it since.

I am thinking the ecm is toast. Could it be anything else or am I correct with my troubleshooting?

Will the car fire up and run? Have you tried to scan it with PC scanning software or a code reader of some type?
