TH350 Build up.........

Ok I have an extra TH350 tranny just sitting there begging to be reworked. While the one I have in my car now is doing just fine, I dont think it will be able to "keep up" with my new combination that I am getting together. Basicly the engine is a 383, with 220cc canfield heads, a 243*/243* duration .595/.595 solid roller cam Super Victor Intake, and a 750 or 850 Demon Carb. This will also be plumbed up for around a 250 shot of "the juice." Anyway, I want to know if there is anyone out there that can inform me of the parts and pieces I need, or places I can go to find the info on how to get my TH350 to handle this new beast. I am not the best person in the world when it comes to tranny's but I have always done all the work on my own cars so I am pretty sure that I can handle this task myself. Besides that, even if I would happen to really screw something up, I always got the TH350 thats in it now.

Thanks in advance for your help......

Just an opinion, but you may want to consider a TH400 for this build-up. It will take pretty much whatever you can throw at it with nothing more than a shift kit.

Ok, I have considered the TH400 trans. but I have heard that it takes a bit more power from the engine to turn a TH400 than it does to turn a TH350. Is this true ? Also, I have been told that a properly built TH350 can hold up to as much as a TH400. If neither of these is true then I may just go that way as soon as I can actually find a TH400 tranny.......

Thanks for the reply !
