Post Steering box

What is a good used steering box to put in a 67-69 camaro. I have the old one out for restoration and was just woundering about replacing it.

used? just go to a junkyard - then you have to gamble if it's better than yours or not.

Aomething to consider would be "steeroids" it's a company that sells a rack-and-pinion steering setup for 1st gen cars. Don't know the website, but they always have an ad in the back of the chevy mags...

Mine came off of a very late 80s TA. It has internal turn stops which worked out good for my new tires. Its not that hard to check it before you pull it. We have a junk yard you can walk through and get what you need. On thing is the front spline is smaller and you need to pull the shaft that goes from the steering box to the column. It has the rag joint you will need on it. If not, they want like $65 for the damn thing
