Rims/Tires

Does anyone know what the max size rim/tire combo that will fit on a 1967 camaro. looking to put 16" rims on it.

Chevy High performance say that with 16" wheels you can put...

Rear 16" x 8.5" with 5.5" backspace and 255/50 tires

Front 16" x 8.5" with 5.0" backspace and 245/50 tires
