OK, guys. Here's my questions.
I want to buy a 4spd Auto with 4.11 gears, and I'd like to know what would be a good stall converter for my car and what kind of prices am I going to be looking at for the whole shabang.
Also, I'm going to be cannibalizing parts off of my Camaro in order to reduce my total monetary loss. What could I get for a....
A/C Frigidare unit with all of the wires and hoses. I recently had a diagnostic done on it and it checked out up to 30psi, but when I started putting freon in a hose blew. So the one house would be the only thing you would need.
Or a....
Powerglide transition with 145,000 miles on it.

"a good stall converter" would depend on your engine setup. A mild motor would want a lower stall, while a snorting, nasty-idling motor will need much more stall.
Give us some info about your motor setup, and your expectations - then we can reccomend a stall range to go with it.
As for which brand, I've heard that most name-brand converters are pretty good - just don't get a generic brand converter...

as long as your combination is pretty balanced, you can really base your stall from the camshaft profile.
base it off the duration at .050"
<220 = 1500
220-230 = 2000-2500
230-250 = 3000-3500
250+ = 4000+
just my $.02 and ballpark figures.
