I am currently looking to purchase a 74 vega race car that I want to drive on the street, but here in California 74 and newer have to be smogged. If I were to put an LS1 or LT1 in the car with one of those kits to make it easy for the wiring could I pass smog?

 

73 and OLDER, or 73 and NEWER???

 

sorry about that error I edited the post and changed it, its 73 and older are exempt from smog and 74 and newer must be smogged
