I found a Urethane front nose for a 79 z, pretty good price, only thing is , around the passenger side light there is a rip, is it hard to repair that??

 

Ive seen guys use fibreglass the short stand stuff works good 1981 z 350 400 horse still not fast enough

 

There's such a thing as fast enough?

 

Repairs are very doable.

There are flexible repair kits. Check with your auto paint store.
Paint also needs a flexible agent in it.
