Hi!
Hi!
Hey guys before I ask a question I'll introduce myself.
I'm the proud owner of a 1969 Camaro X44 with a stock 350 w/ TH350. I'm about to tear her apart and build the meanest camaro in granville county, NC. I'm saving up for the body work and paint, but I've got the denero for a ZZ502, 700r4, moser 12bolt rear end drivetrain and four wheel disc's.
My question is this...does anyone know how I can pull off something I want to do to customize my camaro? I want to chop the Z/28 emblem's and fix them to be ZZ/502. I want a professional look...(no popcicle sticks and glue) so does anyone know how I might pursue this? If I can do this I'm sure my car will be magazine material.

There are factory looking 502 engine emblems in the Classic Ind. catalog. Would be hard to find a pair of "Z's" in the same font. The Z off of a 68-69 Z28 emblem may look ok.
Don't know if this is the direction you are looking for though.

Well, you'd probably need a big Roots blower and nitrous on that 502 to make it "THE" meanest Camaro around
('cause it always seems no matter what, there's always one faster?!
), but that still sounds like a cool plan!
Sorry, I have no clue about decals/badges?
BTW: what's a Camaro "X44"??

...maybe you'll beat her in a 1/4 mile, but that .76 4th gear ratio will push it past 180mph.
funny gassers will still be my nemisis
a X44 was one step down from a X10 car with the RS option. It came originally with a 307 engine and powerglide...basically a notch up from bone stock. I couldn't see hacking on a Z28, SS, or RS to just put in that 502 anyways.

Guido it's your lucky day!
Classic Industries carries that "502" fender emblem...and the crossed flags.
The order number for the "502" is C50264
The flags are the 1967 turbo jet 427 emblem with the 427 and turbo jet filed off or something. Take a look at the V flag Fender emblem. order number 2840318.
All they did was drill extra holes above the flags and put the 502 up there. I saw a magazine with a Zz502 caprice that actually had the "502" inside the flags like it was original...that looked better too me.
How do you like that moser 12 bolt...I'm thinking of going with the 3.55 ratio 12bolt assembled without brakes.
