Thumbs up Dont You Just Love It When a New Round of Mods Actually Pays Off!

Before: 1.74 60ft. 12.57 @ 105 n/a

After CSI Electric waterpump, Moroso Trick Springs, 90/10 shocks, and Competition Engineering Traction Bars:

1.64 60 ft. 12.13 @ 109 n/a

1.59 60 ft. 11.43 @ 116 n2o

I think my micro switch was acting up so the Nitrous run wasn't too impressive. I usally run 1.1 sec. faster on a 150 shot. 10's cant be too far away!!

Thanks guys. I am very impressed with the Iron Eagles. The first car in my sig had the same exact combo except it had Trickflow G1 Twisted wedge heads. It ran in the 13.4 range at around 100-101mph.

Camaro_Dave, I am not sure on the exact altitude but, I am pretty sure we are below 300ft.(highest point in the state of Florida I think) above sea level.

Bowtie, I am not sure but, I would think somewhere in the 3500 lb. range with me in it. I used to race an 80 Z28 that was set up the same way with the same weight reduction and it weighed 3368 lbs. with me in it. Add about 30-40 lbs. that I gained since then, 8 point rollbar, sub frame connectors, and what ever diferance in weight between T-tops versus a hard top is if any.

The heads are stock out of the box, the rearend is the stock 8.5" 10 bolt with 3.73 gears, and the trany is a TH350 with a 3500 stall Alabama Converter. I am running on 28/11.5/15 E.T. Streets.

If you need anymore info feel free to email me and I can give you a little more detailed list. I have had 4 differant combos that put an 81 Z in the 12's (hopefully the current combo will be the 2nd in the 11's) so, it just depends on what you are looking for exactly.

The reason I was asking is I just bought an F body after a 3 year low of not having one. This one is more G_O than show. Its a 78
with a 355,solid roller,TFS aluminum heads(box stock),Jr intake. Tranny is a local built th350 manual valve body, with a 4000 9" converter. Rear is a stock 10 bolt,spool,4.56's,c-clip elim. The car is caged(6 point) and has run dipped in the 11's natural and dipped in the 10 on gas. I just can't wait for the snow melt and the track to open.

Nice times and thanks for the info
