Carb and Intake

I have a 71 Camaro that is mostly stock except for K+N filter, I want to turn it into an all out performance car. I am thinking of Demon 750 carb and Edelbrock Performance Air Gap intake. Think it is a good idea or should I try a different setup? Thanks.

To answer your question. No, unless you do other mods. The 750 carb will be a bit large for a relatively stock engine. Step it down to the streetdemon @ 625 CFM then check out Weiand intakes (cheaper and just as good).
