Rods won't make a difference in CI but watch out unless you have pistons that are made for 350 rods.

350 rods are 5.7" long and 400 rods are 5.565" IIRC. If your rods are too long the pistons will pop out the top of the bore.

You got 400 pistons that are made for 350 rods or you got pistons for a 350?

350 pistons are 4.000" std size and commonly 4.030".

400 pistons are 4.125" std size and commonly 4.155".

Just making sure you aren't trying to put the wrong things together

No they are 400 pistons made for the rods i mean the motor runs fine and is VERY stron and i only had to do a few hours of grinding everything for clearance.
