What are these Full Framed Cars supposed to weigh with a sbc in them?

i think somewhere in the range of 3500-3800lbs

My nephew had a 72 Chevelle no option stripper that we put a 454 w/aluminum heads, TH400 into. It weighed in at 3600 empty with 1/4 tank of gas.
