Sell or Trade my 1993 Mustang LX hatch 5.0

Well Im going to throw this out there and see if anyone might be interested in a Ford..(you can pm me, I wont tell your friends...lol )

Here is my listing the car on craigslist so you can see the details. I will also consider trades of TAs and Z28s, but please, only serious inquiries as my LX is top notch and I have spent a ton of money getting it in the shape it is.

I am just bored with the project....and for those of you who know me here, I have certainly been through my share of projects.

Here is the link... https://accounts.craigslist.org/post...33895902&db=lv

In case the link does not work, then search 533895902 in the Charlotte area to see.

Thanks guys.

Mike

Thanks guys,
Yeah that link is set to make you log in to view.
The link one wicked element provides works.

It has 64,000 original miles...car was stock and sat many a year in a garage up until 58,000 when I got it.

and you know stock was not going to cut it...lol

After we got the intake and heads fully ported and polished we took it to the strip and made only one pull in the 1/8th of an 8.68 @ 82 mph.

Not bad considering that it was on street tires and I had a 2.11 60 foot.

The car still has the functioning AC on it, but I have lightened the load some and it only weighs 2,920 lbs without driver.

Why Iron heads?
seems like with all the other top notch stuff in the car, you would have went with GT40 irons, or used aftermarket aluminum.

did you list a price somewhere, or did i miss it?

PM sent with my car's info.

tks

I also have this vehicle up for sale, but will entertain offers of performance cars. No junk please as mine has won two shows in Charlotte over the last two years. Everything works on the LX, even cold AC!

I have more photos if interested so please inquire at Mikiedoo@aol.com or 704-266-4042

Here is an exact parts list of what has been added in the last year... Wheels 15x7frt & 15x8 rear, Tires, 225 frt & 275 rear,
3" Cowl hood,
Sonic Blue Paint,
Rear Gearing 3.55,
Hurst Short Throw Shifter,
Rear Seat Delete,
Throttle Body,
Cobra R intake,
Cold air intake tube,
Firewall Clutch adjuster & Quadrant,
Mufflers w/ custom dumps,
Off Road mid pipe,
Stainless steel headers,

Factory ported polished Iron Heads,

New Battery,
New plugs,
New Alternator,
New Starter,
New serpentine belt,
New Transmission Mount,
King Cobra Race Clutch pp & tob,
Keyless entry,
New weather stripping around doors,
New plug wires,

All of these mods, labor and parts spent is over $7,000 alone!

The car is a complete show stopper and this type car is getting hard to find in prime shape. Usually they are rust buckets or daily drivers with high miles... Mine is not. You wont be disappointed once you inquire.

Price asking is $8,900

To be honest the heads were not going to be touched, but once we removed the old upper and lower intake, they had super small runners and it made me want to remove them and port /polish them. I had just purchased my porting tools and figured while the car was down to go ahead and do it right.
I had just purchased a king cobra clutch so money for heads was out of the question.
