Help pricing 95 Z28?

I've had my 95 Z28 for 13 years and sadly I think she needs to find a new home - I just don't have the time anymore! If anyone can recommend a price range, that'd be very helpful.

1995 Z28 Auto, 117k miles.
Black w/ TTops, red/gray fabric interior, all factory options for that year other than CD player.
Mechanically sound and well maintained, southern car so no rust.
Some "second car syndrome" - one door handle broken, front speakers (Bose system) not working, springs on trunk need replaced, etc.
Ttops hold up to rain but not an automatic car wash.
Mods: K&N intake, Borla adjustable cat back exhaust, 5 point mag wheels.

Re: Help pricing 95 Z28?

I sold mine a couple of months ago in Minnesota for $4444. There was nothing wrong with it. It had about 146,000 miles on it. The interior was perfect. T Tops with the shades. Flowmaster exhaust, Automatic, Cold Air Intake, SLP Coolant Fan Control, engine compartment and undercarriage were spotless. Cooper Zeon Tires with only about 3000 miles on them. All kinds of new components and work that I did to it myself, too many to list. Everything on the vehicle worked.

The guy that bought it asked if I would take anything less and I said No, he said I'll take it. He loved it.

I sold it on Craigslist. Maybe you should check out Craigslist in your area to see what they are going for. In our Minneapolis area, the Z28's range from $3,500 to $12,900.

Good Luck with your sale.

$3500 sounds right to me.

You could get more by parting it out.

Re: Help pricing 95 Z28?

In my area I've seen some rougher Z-28s in running condition for as low as $2,200(saw it myself on Craigslist). A car in your condition would probably bring about 4-6k here in upper Texas depending on who bought it. Heck, I bought mine for $1,000 none running and it came with two engines, one blown and one good!

Re: Help pricing 95 Z28?

My short answer and .02 based on New England area - there's zero consistency in pricing for running cars (non-running cars seem to be $2k or less in most cases).

Garbage goes from $500 - $5,000, nice-ish cars, $3,500 - $5,500, anything well done, limited run, low miles, etc. will see $5,000-15,000+.

That's a pretty huge range.
