I have a 2000 YZF-R6 I purchased from a guy in Iowa ( I live in NC ), he had laid it down (minor scrapes), I fixed it back up, painted the swingarm, frame and subframe a flat black (looks badass), I only have some pics of the bike right after I painted the frame and such, I plan on having more recent photos available if anyone is interested in seeing them by the end of the week. I bought the bike originally to race it (not drag) but am going back to school full time, so I have no spare time to race. where do you live? i painted the frame, subframe and swingarm black, the motor has 8500 miles on it, I bought it wrecked from a guy in Iowa, hauled back to NC all in two days, I wouldn't have even bothered if it wasn't worth it, it was barely wrecked when I got it, just cosmetic damage but enough for the insurance company to total it out, the plastic/fiberglass fairings on crotch rockets usually approximate close to half the cost of the bike new. The guage cluster (speedo, tach) was not on there when I bought it, so I cannot give you an EXACT mileage count. But I can tell the motor has about 8500 miles on it as I said before. I take wrecked bikes and repair them as a hobby, the only thing I'm waiting on to complete this R6 is the wiring harness, I like to replace just about everything brand new on the bikes I do b/c I wouldn't want someone selling me a second-rate bike. I was originally going to race the R6 on the WERA club-racing scene, but I've since went back to school full time and don't - won't have the time or the $ to race. As a 'bonus' if we work out a deal, you can let me know what color you want the bike to be - I was originally going to have it painted factory 2004 Yamaha R1 blue, but if you want another color holler at me and let me know. The only pic I have is right after I put most of everything back together, minus the gas tank and the plastic, the plastic won't go on until it's painted. The other pics I have are on a camera and aren't developed yet, I still live in the stone age and don't have a digital camera! lol I'll email you the pic
