1995 Z/28 Tons of mods $2000 OBO
 

I have owned this car since 2003 when it had 93,000 miles on it. The body currently has 174,000 miles and the engine has 61,000 miles since I rebuilt it. The car was wrecked in the front end and repaired/repainted by me about three tears ago. Airbags are gone, new steering wheel and dash pad. Both the interior and the exterior look decent for a high-mileage car, but the driver's seat is pretty well worn out and there is one dent in the right rear quarter. The car has the original wheels with snow tires and a set of knock-off Z06 wheels with 275's on them.

The part that matters is the drivetrain. The engine has forged pistons, fully balanced, hotcam kit, Ferrea valves, headers, exhaust, intake, Meziere WP, Mallory 685, new opti, etc... The transmission is an Art-Carr 4L60E with a Yank SS3600 converter. The tranny and converter have unknown miles and worked flawlessly until last week. It appears that the lockup clutch has worn out and the clutch material is cusing the trans to have delayed shifts occasionally. Once it's in gear it's fine, but sometimes there's a pause. If the valvebody was removed and cleaned I'm fairly confident it would be fine, but I don't feel like messing with it. Also has subframe connectors, boxed control arms, welded axle tubes, an aluminum driveshaft, LS1 front brakes, and a ton of other stuff I'm forgetting.

driveable?

Absolutely. As soon as I noticed it was starting to act up I parked it and started driving my Mustang. I travel 60 miles a day to and from work and couldn't afford to chance it. If you're interested you are more than welcome to take it out for a drive.

Sorry for the late reply, but yes I have definitely enjoyed the Camaro so far. Runs and sounds great, and all the littl things you threw in helped alot. I will start a new thread when I do some mods of my own (external stuff and a 150 shot) and take a few pix. It deifinitely was a great deal, thanks again!:cool:
