1991 Camaro Z28 Street / Strip / Drag race car.
Up for sale is a beautiful 1991 Chevrolet Camaro Z28. Car is equipped with Power windows, locks, power brakes, and CD player. This vehicle was built for the sole purpose to be fast on the race track yet reliable enough to drive on the street and cruise the local hot spots. In order to do so, I decided to go with more cubic inches (383 Stroked SBC) yet stay with relatively low compression (10.6:1) so it is possible to run on 93 octane pump gas. There are countless hours of labor ensuring this beautiful vehicle was done correctly. I have about 12 passes at the track and about 2000 street miles on the vehicle since completed. This car has been to numerous car shows and is featured in the “Unfinished Business” street racing DVD (which a copy comes with the vehicle during purchase).
The reason for the vehicle sale is due to me taking a position in Detroit, MI and this vehicle cannot come with me due to storage reasons. I have aprox $16,500 invested in this vehicle not including the purchase price of the car itself. About $9,000 of that is in the engine alone.
This car must go before the last week in May

Had some delamination touched up last year on roof and side. Came out real nice. One small section smaller than a dime peeled off on the drivers side door. The top of the spoiler does have slight sun-fade. Other than that and a few very minor scratches and door dings, the car is exceptionally nice and solid for a 14 year old car. There is no rust what so ever on the exterior of this vehicle. Garaged stored most of its life.
Hood is a Harwood Fiberglass bolt-on unit that is still in its black gel-coat. I have opted to keep it black because I like the look.
Car has t-tops, and they do leak like most of the GM t-tops do. People think that because the car has t-tops, it is not stable. This can be remeded by sub-frame connectors which were installed on this vehicle before it was introduced to any violent acceleration.
Z28 appearance package with high-rise spoiler
Weld – Aluminum drag-lite wheels 15x8 in the rear, 15x3.5 in the front.
28x10.5x15 M/T E/T drag slicks in the rear. About 45-50% tread life left

Stock Radiator
Trans Cooler
Dual Electric Fans W/ Temp controller switch set at 165*
Electric Water Pump
Other Miscellaneous features:
Removed Front Sway Bar
Manual steering box
Removed Heater and A/C components
Serpentine belt system that only drives the alternator for less component drag. Aluminum pulleys on crankshaft and alternator
Line Lock
Vehicle weighs 3,100 LBS even with no driver
Oil was changed about every 500 miles or every time I went to the track. Went to the track 4 times.
The best pass I have on this vehicle is 11.14 @ 121.69 MPH. This is with a 3.73:1 gear and mechanical water pump. My prediction is a 10.90 with new gear and electric pump. These times are on motor. This car has never been sprayed and the carb has not been fine tuned. The jets in the carb are the ones that came with it. Although the car runs good and is close to perfect with that tune, I believe that the A/F mixture could be better optimized resulting in even faster ¼ mile times.
The nitrous kit in pictures does not come with the car, but can be purchased for an additional $600.00 additional to the sale price. It is a Nitrous Express twin-gemini pro power dual stage integrated plate system adjustable from 50hp – 800 h.p. The kit new retails for $999.00.
This car is my baby, and although I cannot emphasize how much I do not want to sell this car, I have to. My loss is your gain.
The things that need attention:
The passengers side window motor is weak and should be replaced.
The rear end pinion seal seeps.
There is no Warranty, neither written nor implied. Vehicle is sold as-is.
