Post Where to dynamat?

Recently installed the system listed in sig and after standing outside the car I found the rear bumper, deck lid, and license plate rattling like crazy. So today I bought some Xtreme Dynamat and matted the license plate with the dynamat plate kit, and lined the inner rear trunk with the matting, and the rear bumper and license plate rattles seem to be eliminated. I put a little bit of matting in the rear decklined, but it still rattles a little, any advice on where specifically i should put the dynamat in the deck lid.

THanks for the help

Someone must have some experience with this. Or at least some ideas.

Thanks

Head over to www.fbodyaudio.com and look up DJ Sexay on the forums there. He has matted probably every crevise of his Hawk and should be able to give you some pointers.

Good choice on the Dynamat Xtreme. I like the tar, it sticks much better than Road Kill.

Remove the hook on the top of your trunk lid and apply some underneath there. I also applied some to the rod on the lock for the trunk. Remove your taillights and apply some to any places that you see the taillights have been rubbing. There is also the heat shield underneath the car(the one that covers the muffler) that might be rattling.

hope this helps
