Whats the difference in the '97 stereo Delco and the '98 and on Monsoon

My '97 has am/fm/cd factory Delco Audiessy System with 8 speakers and 200 watts. What the difference between this and the Monsoon system. I know the Monsoon system is rated at 500 watts. The speaker setup seams to be the same between the two 8 speakers with 6 1/2 in. subs in the sail panels 6 1/2 in speakers in the doors with tweeters and 2 speakers in the rear hatch area. Any other differnces? Where is the amp located?

The only thing that makes the Monsoon a Monsoon is the addition of the POS Monsoon amp. It powers all the woofers in the system while the HU powers the tweeters.

The POS Monsoon amp is located above the right rear tire. It is mounted to a plastic plate above the tire and is on the fender side of the plate.
