URGENT...Please help, BOSE speakers
There's a little box attached to the stock bose speakers, some kind of mini amp I believe. Inside the black box, there's a little coil of red metalic wire around a yellow cylinder. This piece has come loose one all but one of my speakers. There's some kind of adhesive (looks like tree sap) what is that stuff so I can get some and get my system working again.
Oh yeah, this is urgent cause I'm sitting here with the interior on the exterior of the car...and I'm running out of day light http://web.camaross.com/bb/frown.gif Thanks, MJ ------------------ MJ - 1995 z28 Eibach Lowering Springs, KYB Shocks, K & N Filter Kit, Borla Exhaust, Ground Effects. |
What you've described sounds like an iron core inductor. Possibly part of the amplifiers power supply (BOSE systems use powered speakers) or crossover. I'm assuming that what you have described is that the inductor is still connected but loose on the circuit board. If thats the case you can hot glue it back to the PCB.
