Question Tweeter questions for monsoon sys.

Was wondering where are good places to mount tweeters in the front. Are there pods I can buy or do I have to make them myself?

Also was thinking of hooking mine up to the two wires that come from the HUD in a 2000 camaro w/ monsoon. If I understand correctly two ran the stock door tweeters and the others ran the door speakers (got 3-ways connected now). The wires are just there, so would it work?

Any help appreciated.

I mounted my tweeters on the top of my A-pillars. They came with mounting pods and I just applied the double stick tape it came with and they went up there perfect. Sound real good. There are some pods that they sell that go where your mirror adjuster would be if you had a manual. The wires that are connected currently to your stock speakers are 2 different pairs. If you hook the one up going from your HU directly to them, they will have no bass. If you hook up the ones coming off of the amp, then you have only bass and no treble. I wired mine up with the top set (wires going to the HU) to the tweeter speaker directly. The ones coming off of the amp are hooked directly to the 6 1/2. Sounds great. Really even sound. I can have it real loud, and it is really clear for it being at 4 ohms. If you have any questions, let me know. I just put this setup in my car like 3 weeks ago. I asked the same question and never really got any answers Maybe you might get better responses.
