Speaker and amp ?s

Was wondering what everyone thouht of this:

kicker 800.4
infinity kapp 572.5cf speakers in front and rear

installed in my L?

Would I have the gain on the amp all the way up all the time or what? It would likely be mounted under my passenger seat and the jack moved.

I listen to a vairety of music but like lots of beat (techno) and bass. I tend to turn it up pretty loud when a song I like comes on and I am in a good mood.

Anythoughts?

Never have your gain turned "all the way up". It is not a volume control. Just becuase it gets louder as you turn it up doesn't mean thats how it should be used. Leave it cranked and you'll eventually blow your sub(s) from sending a massively clipped signal to it.

You may want to reconsider your Infinity choice. It's been my experience that Infinity speakers don't handle loud midbass very well. And that was with the signal high passed at 85Hz @ 18dB/octave.

Ditto, and I would look into making some MDF plates holding a set of components for the front and some kind of sub if you listen to loud beat and bass. You will never get what you want without a sub.
