passport 9500i
I am looking to get a radar detector and was looking at the 8500 x50. I also seen on the site they have a new one called the 9500i. It says it uses gps and there are no false alarms. Has any used one of these before and is it worth 100 bucks more then the 8500?

you're going to have to justify if it's worth it....
If you have the extra cash -- go for it
performance wise, it's the same as the X50 (or very close) with the biggest improvement coming in GPS for eliminating false alerts
