I would like to get some new speakers for my SS, nothing outrageous, what would you suggest thats economical but nice?

 

Do you have the monsoon system? If so, it's not quite as easy.

Sorry bud, but the monsoon system uses 2 ohm speakers. MOST ALL aftermarket speakers are 4 ohm. Hooking them up with allow your speakers to recieve only half power. I recommend using an aftermarket amp as well as new speakers. Sorry. If your not ready to do that, then maybe think about buying a pair on monsoon speakers from the dealer or maybe off Ebay.

I suggest the Polk Audios GXR series. I have four 6.5"s in my car and they sound amazing. Of course a lot of it has to do with the amp, but they are very nicely priced for the quality they produce.

 

Ive got 2 pairs of 6 1/2 pioneer speakers for sale. P/N TSA-1661. They are only about 3 months old, took them out of my beater when i sold it. Want $100 plusshipping for them.

Also have a eclipse 4 channel amp that is perfect for the speakers. Its about 2 years old. Want to get $100 plus shipping that also.
