need some sound input

hey, i am getting ready to order my sound system. i want really clear and crisp mids/highs with a solid bass (but nothin too crazy, dont want my car to be rattling) i have decided on these parts. you all let me know what you think:

1. Head unit: Pioneer DEHP6500 cd player/3 sets of preamp outputs.
2. front and rear speakers (thats all i have in my vert.): Bazooka 140Watt 6 1/2" speakers RS600
3. Bazooka 4 channel amp 65 watts RMS x4 at 4 ohms EL460
4. subwoofer: bazooka tube 10" with 150Watt amp RS10AHP

will 65 RMS x4 be enough watts to over come my exhaust and road noise with the top down?

I don't like the Bazooka speakers, they sound harsh on the treble and empty on the midbass. I would suggest running Focal Components if you can swing it cash flow wise. You don't really need to run rear speakers, SQ competition vehicles sure don't. You can save some cash that way. You're gonna want around 100Wx2 for the front and 300-400W on a sub to get good volume in a 'vert. I also don't like the Bazooka tubes. Look into running a single twelve that has some balls to it, that will be your best bet. Or maybe two tens. You're gonna want even more power if you plan on having any sort of bass with the top down as your top will block all the bass flow into the cabin. You can get High power for not too much money these days, and still have good build quality from a name you can trust. Here's what I would suggest instead.

Head Unit: Good choice
Fronts: Focal PolyGlass or PolyKevlars if you can swing it.
Sub: JL 12W6V2, or (2) 10W3V2
Amps: JBL BP600.1 600Wx1 @ 1,2 ohms
_____JBL P180.2 90Wx2 @ 4ohm

You will get a much cleaner sound out of these components. Where are you buying from? PM me if you need a reliable source for gear, I have dealt with around 4 myself. And know which ones to steer clear of.

what's your budget?

ok changed my mine. i got the bazooka amp in....i was not satisfied at all....the sound quality was awful at 2 ohms....so i exchanged some of my stuff...i am going to try this:
1. DEHP9300 (found a good price on it)
2. front: Infinity Kappa components
3. rear: Infinity Kappa 6.5i 2 way ....i know most people dont like rear speakers but i love the sound of having speakers in all the corners :)
4. amp for speakers: audiobahn A4075HCQ (4 ch. 75 rms x 4 & ohms)
5. if the bazooka tube is anything like the bazooka amp its going back as well. then i will start looking in to a couple of 12's

imo bazooka is a cheap brand...
how much better quality with the audiobahn amp be?
thanks
also i have never owned a set of components how much different is the sound over coaxial speakers?

Audiobahn would be a better choice than Bazoka. Also, you'll notice the difference when you go with the comp v/s the coax.
