Made my own stealthbox.

So I was walking through the garage today and noticed a large section of MDF that was not being used. I hatched a plan and soon I had this:

That was right after I finished fabing most of the pieces up. I took some of it back apart and smoothed it out and then glued it and sealed it. I will cover it tomorrow, not sure with what though. For those wondering how it sounds, it sounds just like other Stealthboxes out there. Not big thumping bass, but enough to vibrate and fill out the sound more. Just figured I'd post since I've seen others on here wanting to build their own. It's not too hard, just takes patience.

I know, the blade I used curved on me while cutting. I got a new one and recut it when I took it apart. It's fairly straight now, lol.

Gosh, I don't even remember. I believe it was about 9 inches back (plus the 3/4 from the front piece) and around 10 3/4 from side to side. I have to pull it back out in the next couple days when I get my new setup, I'll bring out the measuring tape and see what I find.

That fits nicely. The one I got from subthump.com sits a little high and makes my rear panel sit up a little bit.

ever think of building in a small port on your pointed side? I've done this on a friends ride and sounded great!. Just depends on how far your box is slotted on where your round or oval port will go. Looks nice though
