hey guys and gals i was wondering if anyone out there has any info on the soundstream tarantula line. i've recently purchased a pair of Focal KP165's for my S2000 (former f-body owner) and am looking for a mid priced, good performing amp to power them. i've been out of the car audio market for some time but know that ages ago soundstream produced a very good quality amp. i'm looking at the 125Wx4 tarantula (can't remember specific model number) to power the components and possibly a sub down the road if i decide to go that route. my main concerns are clean sound and decent power to drive the focals as i know they are power hungry. from what i've seen i can pick the amp up for around 330 online which is a decent price range at this point (i dont plan on dropping 1K+ again on amps as i did in my old set up which was all PPI powered). good amp for the money? any others i should give a look to? i'm planning on demoing it this weekend if i can find a local place with one in stock but appreciate all the advanced information i can get.
