Help Please!!

...ive recently put in a decent kicker sound system & need help deciding how to keep the power coming to the amp.....

Do I need to buy a new battery? ..... upgrade the alternator?......use a farad cap?......i have no idea......but its 3 amps.....4 channel(back 4 speakers) , monoSub), & 2 channel(front components)

Maybe add some capacitors.

Uhh, you put an amp on the speakers in the hatch? The first thing you should do is omit those junkers because they are a complete waste. Use your 4 channel to run your front comps and your sail panel speakers. Lastly, use your mono amp for the sub. That gets you down to 2 amps which is more than enough. You may not need to do anything extra, but it would be helpful to know the wattage of these two remaining amps. If nothing else, you might upgrade to an optima battery. That way you can crank it longer with the car off without zapping it.

definitely not...

Take the advice of the other two posts. Dump the 3rd amp, and look into "the big 3". If that doesn't help, you'll want a higher output alternator.

What amp? What wire size? All connections ok? Exactly, what is the problem - too much lights dimming or something?
