Exclamation Help!!?

I took out my stock cd player (monsoon sound system) in my 99 camaro. There is one black plug in that I see where it goes into my cd new player. Im assuming this is for the antenna. Ive got the antenna adapter to plug in, so Im good on that one. Ive also got the Aftermarket Radio adapter to hook up my new cd palyer with my stock wires. So Im good on that one too. But there is another plug in that dont know what it is or what to do with it. Its got 2 green wires, 2 black wires, 1 brown wire and another wire that doesnt have a cover on it (its the actual wire. What is this for? Waht do I do with it? Any Help is GREATLY appreciated!! Thanks. Josh

ALSO: It looks like the previous owner spliced into my wires and there is a little black box that says "Model SNI-8 Output Adaptor 5:1 Reduction PAC". Its got two plug ins on the end of it. Is this for my amp or something?

If the mystery connector is a flat plug it's for your factory changer controls.

The other device you mentioned sounds like it's an LOC (Line level Output Converter). It converts speaker level signals to line level (RCA) signals.

Yes its a flat plug. What do I do with it? Where do I plug it in at? Also, what do I do with the black box? Do I plug anything from my head unit or amp into it?

Don't do anything with it. Since you don't have the factory HU anymore you can't use the factory changer. Just tuck it out of the way somewhere.

If you have your own amp to use with your new HU you don't need to use the black box.

Thanks so much, I got it all hooked up, now i cant figure out who to bolt in the head unit with the installation kit. It was actually very easy to run all the wires.
