Got new stuff, have some ?'s
Ok, I have searched and I have found some answers but still have some questions. I've never installed stereo stuff. I have a 96 Camaro and have the factory Bose in there right now. I just got the following: P2 duel 2 ohm 10" Rockford sub, Rockford T5002 two channel amp for the sub, Subthump drivers side box, 6 1/2" MBQ component fronts and 6 1/2" rear, Pioneer head unit with HD radio and it will run all the 6 1/2" speakers.
Questions:
1) What size speaker wire for the 6 1/2" speakers?
2) What size speaker wire from the sub to amp? (300w amp at 2 ohm to 250w
sub)
3) Take out the plastic rings that the factory door speakers mount to before
installing the new speakers?
4) Soulder all conections?
5) Where should I mount the crossovers in the door?
6) Where shold I mount that big (in size) amp in the trunk well?
7) Should I Dynomat right behind where the front speakers will be mounted
in the doors?
Thanks.

1) I typically use 16 ga for all surround speakers
2) 16 will be fine; 10 or 12 will be better
3) Shouldn't have to; the new speakers should just screw right into that plastic; if they don't you'll need to cut new baffles out of 1/4" MDF; available at any Home Depot.
4) I solder and heatshrink everything
5) Wherever you can find a location that won't have any interference with anything.
6) Same as # 5... wherever you think looks good and works for you
7) Up to you.
