FS: 12" Pass. Side Sub Enclosure $100

Last try before eBay, I just can't seem to get rid of this thing.

It's an old BJNolan stealth and was used for a total of about 6 months with very little output, so it's in great shape. First $100 + 20 shipping takes it. Pics can be seen at:

It's covered in voluptuous charcoal carpet and fits any 4th gen.

That one is a fiberglass box (for a 12 even) and it has more air space, so ideally it should bring more. When bj sold them new, I remember he got around 250 for them.

12" Brahma will fit. I would suggest drilling out and pressing in some T-nuts with C-clamps so you can run machine bolts. Air space is 1.3 cu ft. You can use wood or fiberglass to displace the extra space if you would like. But the Brahma will sound good in it.

Yes, this is the boxes taht went for $250 new from BJ Nolan. I sell my own personal boxes that I make for $300. Just to give you an idea of what a great deal this is. I'm just wanna get this thing out of here and people always want my boxes not this one. Granted mine are alot better IMHO, but for $100 c'mon, that'a a killer deal for a fiberglass 12" box.

Well, I'm pretty sure Steve just sent me a box just like this (BJ Nolan box) and the brahma took a lot of persuading to fit. There was barely anywhere to screw into and when I finally got it in the box was cracked (don't know why). I guess what I'm saying is that you must be sure that a Brahma will fit this. I can't get stuck with another box that won't fit it or that it takes me 15 tries to get the damn thing in! I can't deny that it is a great deal though!
Keep me posted, or drop me an email and we can discuss further.

Brian: Well the box has an 8.75" mounting depth compared to the 12" Brahma's of 7.25", so you're clear there. The mounting hole is 11 1/8", which was a custom cut by BJ just for me he usually did 11 3/8, and the Brahma needs right at 11 1/8", perfect. I believe the mounting holes will even line up.

I do suggest that you use the t-nuts and machine bolts, they are just alot stronger than wood screws. If it doesn't fit I have no problem with doing a refund.

On the box that I have the magnet was hitting the side of the box.........It's hard to explain. There was only like one way I could get it to fit, and it took a lot of persuading. It's kinda like where there is a bend in at the back of the box. Could you insert/send me pics of the inside of the box? I think I could identify it if i saw it (the problem I was having).
Thanks
Brian

Ok, it looks like it could work. Let me ask you this. Is the back of the inside of the box totally flat? No humps or anything sticking out. This 'hump' is what my Brahma was hitting. From those pics it looks like its humpless, lol. It's a lil hard to tell in the pics. Basically, whatever the mounging depth is...........is it the same throughout the box?

Sorry to crash the party, but the Brahma will not work in that box. Maybe if it was a Brahma10 and 10inch box, but the Brahma 12 is to deep for that box. The Brahma needs like I think 8.25 inches just for magnet space, then another 1inch for magnet venting airspace. I have a Brahma 12 and had a pair of BJ's boxes and it wasn't going to work for me. I doubt the boxes vary that much. But if you measure from the inside edge of the box and you've got 9.25 inches of depth, then go for it.
