Front door speaker trim

Stupid question, but how do I remove the front door speaker trim to change out the speakers, does it just pull out?

you actually have to remove the door panel to get to them. I've heard people who have removed the speaker girlls to take the speakers out, but I can't see how it can be done

The door is usually attached by a series of pop-screws and also some screws located in places around the door handle... I haven't taken apart my door panel to replace the speakers yet but I'm planning on doing it soon. I have done it in other cars and they were all the same. When you locate all the screws and pop off all of the pop-screws then typically you have to lift up on the door panel before you can remove it. I will let you know more information as I get it.

This is correct. There are no pop-screws. Pull out the switch panel that has the window switches and auto-doorlock switch. Disconnent everything. Then the plastic behind the actual door lever has 1 screw remove it and work it off. Then there is a larger screw behind that. Remove it. Directly behind the side mirror is a small triangle shaped piece with 1 screw. Remove it. There are 2 I believe in that little map holder or pocket on the door. There is another on the underside of the armrest. I think that's it....... I think. Then grab hold of the armrest and pull directly up. You will feel it come out of place, then you can pull out and off.

u can take the cover off but it has to be cut off. Just use an exacto knife if u wanna remove it. U still cant get to the speakers though. I did this to paint them.

I managed to remove my stock door speakers and put new ones in though the grill hole. Though, my stock speakers were only mounted with 2 screws The car had some badly done system in it when I bought it. Go figure. So, I just mounted the speakers with the screws that were there. When they get louder, the vibrated some though. So, when I get my car back from the shop (I hope this weekend! Its been almost 3 months! I miss my car!) I'm gona pull the door panels off and mount them better. Doing this along with a full tune up (Minus plugs, cuz my wires aren't here yet)
