BOSE SPEAKERS 94Z

I have a new deck and all new speakers, but i used to have the bose system....everything is gone from the original system except the self amplified speaker in the back hatch, i know it probably wont be worth it to get it working, so would it be ok if i take out the whole thing?

not sure what you mean if it okay to take it out. The car won't stop running or anything http://web.camaross.com/bb/smile.gif If the rest of the system is out, it won't affect anything. I know in my 95 if its not plugged in the rear speakers don't work (I guess they run thru it or something). So yeah, yank it http://web.camaross.com/bb/smile.gif

Whe I put the stereo in my 94z (w/ the bose system), I replaced all the speakers, and got the amplified speaker in the back to work. It was pretty rigged to get it to work, but you can use it. It takes a lot of playing, and a lot of patience to get it right.

I know this post has been dead for a while but a question for womanfrankel. How did you get that rear speaker to work. What did you connect the wires to that come out of the speaker enclosure? (grd, 12v, +,-, etc)
