Angry Bose Factory CD problems

My factory head unit (95z28) is very tempermental.. if its the least bit cold outside or there is to much moisture in the air, it refused to play a cd, it simply edjects it...... I was thinking about maybe installing a cd changer to just bypass that feature of the unit.. Ive heard of compatability problems with bose.. could I simply wire up a FM modulator and the changer work?

my dad got me hooked up with his buddy to do it. local electronic places said to take it to a dealer to send it back to delco to fix it. all i know is a new headunit isnt the answer. cd changer would probable be alright. but the guy explained the headunit has a chip that makes the bose system play the speakers so well and it would sound like chrap with out the chip. so maybe go with a cd changer or send it back to delco.
