Best subs in the $115 -150 ish price range for the pass and driver side stealthbox
As it says, I am looking to do a new setup and get some new subs since my kappas blew. I really like what I have seen from elemental designs since I first saw them mentioned here. But I'm not sure how they are going to sound in a small stealth box maybe if I wnt 10's they would be good but I'm afriad 10's are going to be too different because I am used to 12's. What are you guys running in stealth boxes and what woudl you suggest to me.

The e10k is the best sub for the money you can put in a 10" stealthbox. They will pound much louder than you think a couple 10s can get. You'll be surprised.
For anyone interested, I have a pair of BJ 12" stealths for sale.

I've had good results with my IDQ12. It was around $120. It hits hard in my BJ 12" driver's side stealthbox, being driven by a 300W Xtant class D amp.
Not sure how much more they are, but you might also check out the IDMAX.
They're both made by Image Dynamics.

I was/am looking for either 10" or 12" subs for stealthbox enclosures that I am going to be building shortly out of 3/4" mdf. I haven't done my measurements yet because my car just came out of storage a few weeks ago, so I can only estimate that the volume is going to be between .7 and .9 cubic ft before sub displacement. hope that clears things up.
Just make sure you try and get both volumes within .1 cu ft. of each other. You can use clay or MDF to displace some volume if you need. In that price range for those sizes. I'd go with JL W3V2 or Alpine Type R's or S's. Those are the brands I trust and have really liked. There are many other good subs out there with good reputations, but I'm not going to suggest something I haven't heard atleast 3 times.
