Anyone tried installing tweeters in place of the A pillar vent?

You know the vent, the one that doesnt really do anything, Anyone tried putting a set of tweeters there so your legs dont block the sound? Seems like a good place for them. Just cut out the vent and enlarge the hole slightly for a ste of flush mounted tweeters. Any pics or experience??

Those vents defog your side windows when you have the defroster on. A better spot would be on the little black corner pieces on the front parts of our windows.

I thought those defogged the windows too, but I had them off for a dashpad replacement and didnt see how they worked at all. How is the sound with relocated tweeters? Does it sound "different" because the tweeter is further from the midrange?

u do that it will hurt the sound, you want it as close to the mid range speakers as possible.
