Anyone fire subs into the t-top area?
I built a custom box out of mdf pretty much identical to the q-form(I think). It sits across the bottom spanning the t-top area. Anyways I was attempting to fit my mtx 12" 8000 with 2 10" punch hx2's. My idea is to put the mtx facing into the t-top area and fire the two remaining hx2's into the hatch like a q-form. Anyone gurus wanna step in and critique or inform me why this would, wouldnt work?
I'm not sure how mixing 10s and a 12 would sound, but generally speaking, subs firing into the well sound pretty good. You should just get another 12 and face it downward too. The milhouse fires downward part of the time and it the fullest deepest bass you can imagine. HTH

NEVER EVER mix subs, its a horrible idea due to cancellation. If you want multiple subs you need to make sure they are all the EXACT same make and series number and are running off the EXACT make and series amp - and keep them in one box if you can...
