anyone added hd radio to their cars?

I am looking to add hd radio to my cars, but am not sure the best way to do it. I have a 98 Z28 convertible with the factory stereo, am/fm cassette in the dash with the 12 cd changer in the trunk, and a 91 RS with a rockford fosgate unit in the dash. I know the the rockford unit does not have an input jack on it, but I do not know what the factory unit in the 98 has available as additional inputs. Not looking to replace both head units right now, so can I get one hd unit that can be switched between cars? Anyone with suggestions or experience installing hd in their cars would be appreciated.

yes but the transmission is digital...

from what I've heard - it varies... look up HD stations in your area, as HD is more local than the obvious satellite -- so it could be worth it depending on what you listen to and what is broadcasting using hybrid digital

its junk. don't waste your time / money.

if you want a better radio with higher quality sound, go with sirius or xm.
