Anybody Familiar With Installing Car Alarms?

I'm going to be purchasing an Alpine 150r security system for my T/A here soon and I am going to try and install it myself. Is this going to be difficult? Am I going to run into any trouble with the Retained Power Feature? Just looking for some install docs or some words of advice. I'm pretty familiar with electronics, but I'm forseeing some trouble :)

they arent hard..the part that takes the longest is prepping the alarm so the wires are grouped together to where they go...remember ..the cleaner the better..be organized...

alarms are not as hard as people think...just test each wire before you SOLDER it (make sure you solder unless you want problems)

on ls1.com theres a nice FAQ about this..

do a search on this, I remember searching on Google a while ago about this, and there's a website that talked about installing alarms on 96-97 fbody's I believe, and they said it would probably be very similar, if not the same, as installing alarms on 93-95 fbody's too.

It's not hard with the above info and a good electronics understanding. I've done 3 alarm installs on different cars.

Thanks for the info, I'll be sure and research those links thoroughly.
