??????

i had this whistling noise comming from my speakers when i had the engine turned on. My friend told me that my RCA's must be crossed w/ my power cables and i need to run them on opposite sides of the car. so i took out the seats and c arpet and moved them apart from each other. i put everything back together and after my radio wouldn't turn on at all. My trunk release and asr switch wouldn't work either. What did i do?

I have a 95 z-28 w/ a viper alarm system if that matters at all.

sounds like something got disconnected and/or you blew a fuse or two. did you pull all the wiring out and re-run it down each side of the car? I would double check fuses under hood and dash.

no i didn't disconect anything really. i disconnected the rca's to the subs and ran them down the other side of the car and i also disconnected the remote wire from the amp powering the interior speakers but i put it right back. i checked the fuses inside the car and they were fine. i also checked the two fuses on the two seperate power cables powering the two amps. The only thing i can think of is that i must have pulled some wire as i was moving them around the floor of the car and mabye that wire tugged on some stock wiring in the dash. i can't figure it out
