all this talk about the obama helping/owning GM, i started thinking what would have happened if this bankruptcy happened under the Bush administration?

 

Probably the same complaining but by an entirely different group of people. No doubt the last administration would have done the same as would any of the republican 2008 candidates (minus Ron Paul).

Saving GM is about stabilizing the US economy. Maybe at a different time things would be different, but now is not the time for a liquidated GM.
