Its a manual.
At 2:40 the driver says he wishes that he powershifted.
Original thread posted by the owner of the car with several manual related references:

I will say this if they are passing this off as an auto car when it is a manual you can't trust what they say about the mods.
I think it might be an error in one thread though.
Edit: I think this is more fault than owner of the car. When I first heard about this car was when the 12.1 was posted. At the time it was said it was a M6 car. I am a little drunk now.

12.12 car had 26" slicks (shorter than stock tire...) and is lowered with sway bar relocation.
12.47 car was on drag radials.
So both are stock as far as "power mods go." As far as my definition, not really. Everyone on the internet likes to call "otherwise stock" cars with DR's or slicks "stock" regardless of what they drive though. Suspension mods most people don't really consider stock... unless you want a lot of people to read your thread. When your first post says "slicks stock everything else" you lose a little credibility when you then start listing other mods later.
The 5.0 Mustang GT is a quick car no doubt though.
edit: Oh and the 12.1 was at Temple Academy near Temple, TX. Haven't been there myself in years, but if it was like it was back in 2003 I wouldn't want to drive a car that fast there

A stock car should be the way it came to you from the factory performance wise. The car ran a 12.47 on drag radials which means the car is no longer stock in my opinion. Drag radials alone make a huge difference at the strip.
