Other than the new 2007 full size SUV's and trucks that are coming out.... is there anything else new or at least freshened coming from GM?

Aren't the Buick Enclave and GMC Acadia supposed to be on the same crossover platform as the Saturn Outlook? Should they be coming this fall too?

 

Man , that is the ONLY thing the SRX needs to make it about damn perfect . I drove one for about a week , the only lacking thing there was interior style . I can see why this SUV is still getting called the darling of the lux sport ute industry even still in 2006 . Cant wait to see it .

 

Yep, same platform.

This platform is going to surprise the daylights out of alot of you who haven't seen the Enclave yet.

It's not exactly what you would call a small, or even medium sized SUV.

That thing's alot bigger than the SRX.

And, at least the Buick Enclave looks absolutely amazing. It could almost singlehandedly save Buick IMO.

 

On a side note off an above post...when is the new CTS being shown? Next year's NAIAS or at some autoshow later on this year?

It really is a nice vehicle.

Now I'm not into Buicks, nor am I into SUVs much, but I'm looking forward to seeing the Enclave in person!

 

It's quite striking in person actually. I didn't even like it in the pics. Looked like it had too much going on in every which direction. But after seeing it (and I also am not into SUVs or Buicks really), I think it is a great step for Buick.

 

I am really hoping that the Enclave gets here ASAP... like by this fall.

Probably not going to happen, but with it's stablemate, Saturn Outlook, on schedule for that time frame, maybe it is possible.

Anyone have a ballpark figure on the rollout dates for Outlook, Enclave, and Acadia?

It's interesting to me that it seems as though Outlook will be out first, and we haven't seen it... we see Enclave, but may have to wait for it...

 

Last I read, the Outlook would be first in Fall (Sept.?) '06 with the Acadia being last in early or first half 2007

It is a little odd that they show the Enclave at NAIAS, yet the Outlook will be available first.

Wonder what the thinking (if any) was behind that...???

 

Enclave and Acadia are 'technically' concepts.

 

But Enclave is less of a concept than Camaro.... or even Challenger.
