OT: v8 supercars races coming up

12-Jan-03 Queensland 500 Sun 14:00 - 16:00
19-Jan-03 Bathurst 1000 Sun 14:00 - 16:00

If you have seen the aussie V8 supercars and want to see more watch speed channel at the above times on speed channel, as it shows highlights for the Bathurst 1000 race which was amazing this year and another endurance race which was just as good. HIGHLY recommended.

Sorry for being off topic but i'm sure some people on here would like to know about this ;)

These races are FAR better than NASCAR. The course isn't just running in a simple circle, and the cars.....are you ready for this?......actually have production car bodies!

With the exception of the oval track, if you want to see what NASCAR used to be like in terms of running production cars, check out this series.

Not only did Australia inherit America's abandoned muscle cars, they inherited the real spirit of stock car racing.

I'd kill to have that series over here....

......sooooooo much better than roundy round racing.........those guys trade way more paint than the NASCAR dudes....  :D

I've actually been watching those races. If only they'd bring Holden to the US. Yeah I know the GTO is a Monaro, but for God's sake... its still a Pontiac! ;)
